Welcome to the premier Rugby Club in North London situated
at the end of the Northern Line and with clubhouse and four/five pitches
in South Hertfordshire open space. Rugby has been played in the area
for over 90 years. Now there are vibrant Mini's (Under 7s upwards),
Junior's, Colt's and Women's sections and a Senior section, that incorporates
a Development XV, all playing friendly, league and cup matches. The
Clubhouse is open most weeknights, plus weekends, and there is floodlit
training for most ages.
Oh.....and a busy social scene for players, parents, coaches, supporters
and all rugby friends.

Richard Charles Wynne-Ellis |
Died peacefully 27th July 2010 aged 63 years
Richard played for Barnet R.F.C.from 1972 to 1979 before becoming a Vice President in 1980.
He enjoyed his golf with Barnet R.F.C.Golfing Society and The Hackers,of which he had been Captain.He was a member of Moor Park Golf Club.
Our deepest sympathy to his wife Pippa and their children,Elizabeth,Katherine,Charles and Richard.
He will be sadly missed by his many friends.
Richard’s funeral will be at 3pm at Slough Crematorium followed by a service at
St James Church,Gerrards Cross,at 4pm

Malcolm Lawrence (Toby) Taylor |
24th January 1939 – 21st July 2010
Toby joined Barnet R.F.C. as a Vice President in 1976 and was a keen supporter of the Club.
He enjoyed his golf with the BRFC Golfing Society and The Hackers.Toby very rarely turned down an invitation to join the Society on a trip to Scotland,Cromer or other parts of the UK.He became well known for his famous ‘pink’trousers.
Our deepest sympathy to his wife Jenny and their sons Ian and Roy.
He will be sadly missed by his many friends.
Toby’s funeral will be at The West Herts Crematorium,Garston on Tuesday 3rd August at 4pm.There will be a reception afterwards at Harpenden Rugby Club.
Family flowers only but donations may be made to the Royal National Lifeboat Institute.

A GREAT WAY TO KEEP FIT – JOIN THE BERFC SUMMER TOUCH!
This summer’s touch rugby is now up and running in
full swing so why not bring your dad, mum and siblings along for some great
fun! They may surprise you with their ball skills.
We play touch rugby every WEDNESDAY evening @ 7pm and it is
open to all at BERFC. So why not come along?

Elliott Matthews who died on Friday 21st May played
for Barnet RFC in the late 40s and early 50s and then became a Vice
President.
He worked,with the late Vic Taylor for one of our
earlier presidents Klon Kerr. In retirement he enjoyed his golf at Mid Herts Golf
Club.
Our deepest sympathy to his wife Margaret and
family.

The Club AGM for 2010 will be held in The Clubhouse, Byng Road, Barnet,
Herts EN4 4NP on Wednesday 2nd June 2010.
- The Players General Meeting of the Club will start at 7:30 pm.
- The Annual General Meeting of the Club will start at 8:00 pm.
Documents for the forthcoming Players General Meeting and Annual General Meeting can be downloaded by selecting the "AGM 2010" link from the main menu. These include those pertaining to the Resolution to transfer the assets and
undertakings of the Club into a Limited Company, Barnet Elizabethans Rugby
Football Club Limited together with the amended Club Rules, Articles of Association and Memorandum of Association of the new company.
